The Spring Meetings 2025, a premier global forum organized by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG), concluded on a high note in Washington, D.C. The meetings brought together global leaders to exchange views on pressing economic and financial issues, including inflation, debt, and climate change. It also served as a valuable opportunity for Thailand to demonstrate its active role in fostering international cooperation to address these global challenges.

Mr. Paopoom Rojanasakul, Deputy Minister of Finance, and Ms. Chayawadee Chai-anan, Assistant Governor of the Corporate Relations Group from bank of Thailand, met with Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, during the Spring Meetings 2025 to discuss preparations for Thailand hosting the 2026 Annual Meetings.

The Prime Minister chaired the 1/2025 National Committee Meeting for the 2026 World Bank and International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings at the Phakdi Bodin Building, Government House.
