Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand, together with Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and Mr. Vitai Ratanakorn, Governor of the Bank of Thailand, attended the opening ceremony of the Thailand Pavilion at the 2026 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, hosted by Thailand at Queen Sirikit National Center.
The highlight of the pavilion is an exhibition showcasing the royal initiatives and development vision of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej through the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and his working principles. It reflects an approach to development that emphasizes balance, resilience, and improving people’s quality of life. The concept aligns with Thailand’s host theme, “Thailand’s New Horizons: Empowering People, Building Resilience,” and the guiding principle of “Continue, Preserve, and Build Upon.”The Thailand Pavilion also showcases Thailand’s capabilities in Digital Public Infrastructure, Climate Resilience, and Longevity, alongside Thai cultural activities. These exhibitions and activities offer participants from around the world an opportunity to learn about Thailand’s development philosophy and its potential across diverse areas.
