PR Activities for Promoting the 2026 Annual Meeting During the 2024 Annual Meetings in Washington, D.C. The Bank of Thailand and the Ministry of Finance organized activities to promote Thailand’s role as host of the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings. Held during the Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C., during 22–25 April, these activities highlighted Thai culture through exhibits featuring traditional fabrics, performances of Thai classical music and dances.
The delegation also used this opportunity to reaffirm Thailand’s readiness to host the 2026 Meetings and to discuss progress on preparations with the IMF and World Bank Group. These efforts demonstrate Thailand’s capability to host major global events while showcasing its rich culture and tourism potential contributing to an enhanced international recognition and generating the long-term income growth.
