Amplifying Youth Voices: Shaping a Resilient Economic Future

A glimpse into the Youth Dialogue with First Deputy Managing Director, held as part of the 2026 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group in Bangkok.

The dialogue provided an open platform connecting leaders of international financial institutions with young representatives from across Asia. Participants exchanged perspectives on key issues shaping the world, including navigating the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), the expansion of digital technologies, empowering entrepreneurs, improving access to financing, and the future of the labor market.

The discussion highlighted that building a strong and resilient economy amid rapid change requires the vision, ideas, and meaningful participation of the younger generation.
